Training seminar on partner search and project proposal writing for Erasmus+ call 2025 for the team of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (30.01.2025, offline, Kyiv)

On 30 January 2025, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine held a seminar-training on partner search and project proposal writing for Erasmus+ call 2025 for the team of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.

The event was attended by 70 participants, including administrative staff, faculty members, and representatives of the International Relations Office (IRO) of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.

Kateryna ZHDANOVA, Manager of NEO in Ukraine, delivered a presentation on Erasmus+ opportunities in the field of education, with a specific focus on Higher Education. The speaker presented the structure and key actions of the Erasmus+ Programme for 2021–2027, provided practical recommendations for preparing high-quality applications and forming partnership consortia, and outlined opportunities for Ukrainian universities in the 2026 calls. Particular attention was paid to the requirements for Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) projects, partner search strategies, and navigating the Programme Guide.

The training aimed to develop a concise project concept to crystallise the ideas of the university’s initiative groups, ensuring they meet all requirements regarding partnerships, priorities, and call objectives. Over the course of three hours, participants worked in groups and developed three project ideas, which were then presented and discussed, followed by feedback and recommendations.

Furthermore, during the session, the speaker explained the structure of institutional coordination for the Programme and the specific features of Erasmus+ implementation under martial law in Ukraine. She also focused on the role of the IRO on key Programme portals (FTOP and E+&ESC) regarding profile access, account validation, and the management of systems for winning projects (including the signing of the Declaration of Honour).
